The best smartwatch if you own Samsung phone!
1 of 1 found this helpful I've got Gear S3 as a Xmas present and I've loved it since the unboxing!
It looks both professional and sporty so you can wear it in every occasion (although I ordered another Stainless Steal bracelet for more professional look).
It connects perfectly with Samsung phones (Galaxy S7 here) through Samsung Gear app and BT/WiFi.
Battery life is 3 days with occasional Always On display and BT/WiFi ON during the whole day.
Charging cradle is such a beauty, although, I wish it supported Quick Charge. It takes a long time for watch to charge (~2h maybe, for 360mAh battery).
Step count is precise (for walking at least) and you can't fool it with shaking or turning the watch, like you can do with the phone.
Floor count is also pretty good.
It has a good amount of apps, but I wish there is a better Maps app that will integrate Maps on your phone with the Gear S3.
Heaps of watch faces to chose from (some are free, some paid).
Gmail is missing, but there is an Email app. You can still read the emails received to your Gmail acc, but you can't reply to them on the watch.
You can reply to Viber, SMS, Pushbullet directly from your watch.
You can use the Gear S3 to call people and the sound and voice clarity are excellent (but I wouldn't recommend it in a noisy environment without the earphones - it also looks silly when you are talking to your watch in a middle of a street).
Finally, I love the Healthy nudges feature - reminder that pops out every 50min if you are inactive to tell you to stand up and walk around/do exercises a bit.
All in all, Gear S3 is a great smartwatch with a stunning look and excellent features!
