1 of 1 found this helpful I use only forehead mode, very comfortable, i don't use 3 points but only one, usually 2-3 times to make sure measurement was done properly only slight variations occur, probably due to bad placement of thermometer. the toddler (1.5 years) likes it and doesn't oppose it which was a large problem with other thermometers. even possible to measure his temp while he sleeps without waking him up. i store it on the diaper changing table and use it once a day so he's used to it and it really takes 1 second.
if temp is in normal range the light is green, if its high the back-light turns red.
it's also comfortable for measuring room temp - just one click, i have another thermometer in the toddlers room and results are very close (depending on the place the measurement was taken).
the product is also for ear temperature but i don't use it, but switching between forehead and ear is extremely easy.
