sony dsr pd170 review
2 of 2 found this helpful this is a great camcorder, very like its cousin the sony dcr vx2100e but with poorer sound (their is a hum on the mic input line of some of these machines) but it has a slightly better picture quality in low-light than the vx2100e,though it is a good buy nontheless. ps,none of these standard-def cameras can be uprezed to blu-ray with best results (for that you are better off with a high-def model.) hope this helps

2 of 2 found this helpful this is great camcorder very like its cousin the semi-pro sony pd170p but with better sound(no hum on the mics),but the picture is slightly poorer in low-light.
