Difficult install, but well worth the struggle.
Wow, this was the most involved heatsink install I've ever encountered. Of course, I've never used one as performant. The instructions were mostly good, but a little wonky, so I had to watch a few videos of folks doing the same install on a similar board.
It's so big, I actually had trouble plugging in my power to the CPU. It also seems to slide around a little. It clamps down, but I couldn't get satisfactory pressure between the clamps on the board and the unit. Regardless, it works. And it works really well.
I am overclocking a xeon x5690 to 4gz with no problem staying cool.
