Excellent scanner... if you have Ubuntu 9.04
This scanner is excellent. I was sceptical about it not having its own power source (it has only a USB connection), but my fears were put to rest. A word of warning: I could not get this scanner to work under Windows Vista, or on my laptop which runs Windows 7. Even with the driver disk kindly provided by the seller, it would not recognize and install the scanner correctly. However when I plugged the scanner into my linux machine, the plug and play feature installed the scanner with no help from me, and it works like a charm.
