Nice little Laptop. No major issues. Good value.
I bought this originally to use for writing. It has an average hard drive and memory and I like that it has a dual core processor. I have found some quirks that I don't like. The hard drive came pre partitioned with 4 partitions. An HP Backup Partition, a HP Tools partition, a System Partition, and the partition used as the primary drive. I didn't like the fact that the Tools and the Backup wasn't put on the same partition. This causes extra space to be used when it's not needed. Also, while doing some performance tests and maintenance, The DVD drive would not access properly while booting. It gave me an error to check the drive cable. However, If I would first go into the bios and then let the DVD drive boot, it would then work. Not a good thing since I was booting from a cd. Other than these minor issues, I am quite satisfied with the Laptop. I am running it with a laptop cooler and have not had any issues with overheating. I had read reviews of this model being shipped with bad keys on the keyboard. Not a problem here. So far, so good. The Laptop is exactly what I had hoped.

Nice DVD/VCR combo package
1 of 1 found this helpful This DVD/VCR combo is a great little find. It has great playback features and looks great. However, for those looking for a DVD/VCR combo with a tv tuner built in, this is not for you. The Description can throw you off a bit with the whole record your favorite TV bit. That is the whole reason why I bought this. I was a bit disappointed when I got it and discovered that there was no built in tuner, but the overall quality of the product is wonderful even with out the tuner. So this product definately gets a A from me.

Second Sight (1994, VHS)
For a paranormal laugh, second sight is your movie. I had seen this flick about 10 years ago and thought it was hilarious. In a fit of nostalgia, I thought I would look it up. It's still as funny as it was then, and my nephew thought it was "the bomb." Excellent movie. The only thing I didn't like, is that I could not find this title on DVD. Oh the price of nostalgia...
