Goldring 1006 Cartridge
This Goldring cartridge has rejuvenated my old Dual 505 II deck. Came supplied with a set of nuts, screws and spanner so fitting to any standard 0.5" (12.7mm) headshell is a breeze (would strongly removing the stylus beforehand to prevent damage, the stylus and the mounting simply pulls out together from the cartridge body and replacements are available). Specs and output pin colour-coding are provided in a guidance leaflet. The sound of the 1006 is immediately a vast improvement on the OM10 fitted with a generic copy stylus I had fitted. I was drawn to the 1006 by the price-point (£139.50) and the fact that the cartridge had a higher sensitivity (6.5 mV ±1.5 dB) and I don't regret it for a moment! Superb improved bass end and stunning channel separation. Would high recommend as an upgrade from any low to mid budget cartridge. So glad I didn't take my Dual deck to the tip now!

Quality Tools
As always quality tools from Chris. They do exactly what it says on the can! Accuratelty ground. Hope they last as long as the fret end cutters.
