Solid gameplay and a blast from the past
Frogger 2 for the Game Boy Color is a case of less being more. It takes the formula of navigating through peril and danger to save the frogs and molds it into a bite-sized adventure that is slightly more forgiving than the original Arcade game. With five worlds and thirty-two levels to traverse, you go the classic high score route, play at a more relaxing pace while collecting as many gems as possible, or cut to the chase and clear the levels as quickly as possible. Only minor weakness is some of the sound effects and the music, which can be grating at times. Other than that, a pretty solid GBC game from the early 2000s.
