  Fantastic quality and the packaging was amazing... It was delivered in a small wooden cigar box then that was wrapped in bubble wrap and then in a plastic mailbag and the addresses were covered in clear tape to stop water ingress. Very clever.   Lovely to meet Aaron briefly, nice chap, friendly and helpful. Item just as described, great deal on a very well engineered old school Variac. Listed as parts/not working - which due to age and seller not being able to test it was sensible. I've stripped and serviced the unit and tested it it out, returned to good working order :) A nice addition to the lab. Item made before I was, and could still be kept working long after I am gone!
