Good DAC for a TV
This was perfect for what i needed. I only use the DAC function. I use it with a coax digital input from my cheap tv to a pair of active speakers. It blows away the sound quality from the internal headphone out which was producing weird distortions. I was kinda worried that this thing was too cheap and might not be much of an upgrade from the TVs DAC but its actually great. I'm glad I didn't spend any more.
Its powered from the usb port on the TV, no power adapter is included.
I cant speak for the headphone amp because i don't use it.
