Pro quality at a reasonable price.
A great lens, professional quality, that gives tremendous clear images. Constant F2.8 opening gives the advantage in lower light levels. Maybe not quite as good as the OS version but you can get away without stabilisation, and it's cheaper too. The weight can be a bugbear ( 1.3kg ) but it's the price you pay for quality.

A great first ( for older models ), or second flash.
