Sennheiser Open Back Professional Headphone - Black (HD600)

Good sound quality, good for critical listening - but uncomfortable with very strong clamping force

These are great for critical listening - bad recordings or even minor flaws are more obvious with these than some more forgiving headphones. To get the most out of them though you'll want a decent amp to drive them. Comfort wise though.. they're hard to use for long periods of time. I have a pretty small head but I get headaches after wearing these for prolonged periods. They're also heavy. You'll never ever forget that they're sitting on your head.
