Gerber Gator Fillet Knife - 6 Inch Fine Edge

Top quality filleting knife.

I've been looking for a good quality stainless steel blade that had the flexibility that a filleting blade needs but that was also strong enough to handle the bones that are often the bane of these style blades when dealing with decent fish. The Gerber filleting blade meets all those needs for me. On top of that is the fantastic quality of the metal so that the blade takes time to sharpen properly but takes longer than most other blades to lose that sharpness for the same reasons. I highly recommend the Gerber knives and in particular their range of filleting blades.
