Try it out, works well for me!
It is hard to rate this heat gun as the real test is longevity. But, on the other hand, it has done everything I wanted from it up to now.The settings work well and the and items sent along with it were pretty good for the price. I would recommend it at least for light use, although I cannot say for heavy use every day-every day! I like it; try it for yourself. They even included a replacement heat unit so even if the unit were to blow the heat element (happens on heat guns from time to time) you don't have down time and can rely on the second element until you get a another one.
The only thing I didn't like was that the half-moon they sent in the gun kit had a straight blade plane, and it should have a small offset kink in it so the blade runs more parallel to the floor. The sled works ok, though and at least you can get the job done. The gun is cheap compared to others and the value is fantastic.
If you want a heat gun for vinyl welding, try this one! Works for me!!
