Cheap, medium sound, well constructed

It's a little bit thin in terms of sound - it's all layered - but at this price is reasonable. It's well built and fit the purpose for the occasional use, or for practicing. It can be improved with better saddle, nut and tuners, but one has to consider if it's worth spending more money on it. Alternatively you can consider a good second hand, which is probably a better value, but harder to find.

Chap plastic, it won't improve the look of your guitar

Very cheap material, I wouldn't recommend it. It'd make your guitar look cheap.

Taylor 114e Grand Auditorium 6 String Acoustic Guitar

Impeccable built quality, great sound, best at this price range

I have had a 114e for more than two years, and it's my normal go to guitar ever since. The grand auditorium size works very well with my style, which is fingerpicking, but it's also as good and powerful as a dreadnaught when strummed. I chose this guitar in the shop over another close finalist that was all solid - this one is only top solid - but this one sounded better and the neck was way more comfortable. Very happy with this purchase, and even if I bought higher end guitar since, this is always a pleasure to play.
