onto dvd's (& cd's too).The All-Write technology is particularly handy when
shopping for disks to record on.The "Easy Guider "menu makes recording extremely easy to accomplish. But there are also things to look out for when buying these recorders.One is the age of the recorder.Buying an older model
is generally like spinning a roulette wheel,you are taking a big chance that
something will soon fail. More often then not the most typical failure is the DVD Burner Drive (per David Waite of drw_it_pro )after inserting a new disc
you will either get "no disc" "disc error" or after briefly recording the
"write fail "announcement.My advice when shopping for a Liteon is to buy new or
buy one that has had a new burner drive & firmware installed.
