Simple controls

Heat sealer strip inside vacuum area is a plus. Cutter should/could be better placed between the roll retainer and the heat sealer vacuum area though IMHO so that putting seal at bottom of next/new bag would be easier :=) As it is, is quite workable just the same. And I can see why my idea might not be practical. Setting buttons and controlling generally instinctive. Accessory vacuum attachment works for two types of canister.
