Great pc for a good cost with aftermarket cpu options
1 of 1 found this helpful The tower is quite big as with most OEM systems but that's not a huge deal. The 2.66 ghz w3520 is good processer on it's own and you are able to upgrade to something like a w3580 if you wish. It needs to be said that the CPU cooler is a proprietary cooler (As with all t3500's) and without modification the cpu temp hovers around 70 degrees celsius under load which is on the hot side but still within safe limits. I plan on adding a 90mm fan and attaching it to the cooler with stainless steel lockwire to hopefully bring it down. I replaced the hdd with a samsung ssd making my particular machine much faster than normal. There is a single 6 pin power connecter for graphics card and despite having two 2.0x16 pci-e slots it does not have sli capability. It is a very good machine that can be used for plenty however the cpu is really what makes this machine shine. It can be used for gaming with a decent graphics card installed (I can play fo4 just fine with an old radeon 7770hd graphics card)
