Pack 'em In!
Wonderful litlle pencil tote. It is very durable and well-constructed. I purchased two extra pencil leaves (separately), and I now store 220 colored pencils, mostly the big, fat Derwents. This case has convenient pockets, inside and out, and the leaves can be easily removed from the ring binder. My only complaint is with the length of the shoulder strap. It needs to be about twice as long. Other than that, I love this little rascal. I may get another one!

Really looks metallic
I can't say anything negative at all about any Derwent product I've tried, and these 12 metallic colored pencils are no exception. They are 6 mm hexagonal pencils rather than Derwent's usual 9 mm round-cased pencils. They are also water soluble, and the metallic shimmer really stands out when hydrated, especially on a black or very dark support. But they are beautiful when used dry, too. They are completely compatible with other Derwent and Prismacolor pencils. My only complaint is that they aren't made in a larger range of colors. They are reasonably priced and are worth every penny.

1 of 1 found this helpful I don't think Derwent makes anything that's bad. If they came out with a car, I'd buy it! I've wanted to try out the Inktense line for a while, and the ebay price was well below what I typically see in art stores. I couldn't resist. Most watercolor pencil pigments, when hydrated and allowed to dry, are not permanent. But Inktenses are permanent when dry. This feature makes it easier to put in additional colors on top of the existing pigment (glazing) without disturbing the first layer. There are 72 colors, and every oneof them is brilliant, even when used dry. Derwent Inktense aquarellable pencils are unique and fantastic. Unless I just want an even broader range of colors, I really don't need any other watercolor pencils.
