Very efficient. Highly recommended.
1 of 1 found this helpful I had read elsewhere that these were noisy, but nothing could be further from the truth. Very quiet in operation and on low heat setting it draws 1000W measured on my Watttsmeter and warms 3/4 of my 2 bedroom unit perfectly. On high it draws about 1500W and is super warm. I've found these ceramic type heaters to be far more efficient than the old fashioned glowing bare-wire heating element type heaters. In fact I would say they are the most efficient form of heating in my lengthy experience, having found the reverse cycle air conditioning to be as efficient (but less effective in my opinion and far noisier for me, and my neighbours!). This ceramic heater uses a true heat exchanger design for maximum efficiency (looks like a little car radiator inside there). Very impressed with the Dimplex. Quietest one yet. Highly recommended for this and every winter. I'm buying another one to put in the cupboard in case this one ever dies, that's how impressed I am with it. Oh yeah, it has an oscillating setting as well, so it rotates about 45 degrees side to side.

Brilliant Addition To A Laundry
I have to say, this simple caddy is amazing. It has literally changed my life. I hate getting the vacuum cleaner in and out of the cupboard and all set up. Now I have the hose and all the vacuum attachments, plus a dust pan and brush, as well as two dusters hanging behind the laundry door. You can't even see them with the door open. Perfect use of minimal space, plus it looks super clean and organised. It has some flexibility in the way you store your attachments, plus these a shelf at the top. Now I'm keep the main vacuum unit in the cupboard, and all the attachments and hose are neatly hanging on the wall behind the door in my laundry. I love it! I'm finally getting organised! I'm buying a bunch of these to give as presents next Christmas.

Perfect Light - No Hot Spots, and They Save Lives!
These work perfectly in retro car lights that have reflectors in the back of them. The LEDs point backwards at a 45 degree angle and reflect/disperse light perfectly giving a perfectly even lit brake/tail light, with no hot spot. Because the LEDs emit red light in the exact colour as the brake/tail lens, the light appears brighter even though it only draws 1.7W. You may need an LED-type relay flasher to replace the old style flashers that tend to 'hyper flash' when they don't see enough of a 'load'. The replacement flashers are cheap and will operate at very low currents. The other plus is that LED tail lights emit light immediately, as opposed to incandescent globes that are much slower to light up. It's been reported that a person following someone who applies heavy braking will stop 18 feet shorter when LED globes are fitted, than the same vehicle fitted with older style incandescent globes. That's easily the difference between life and death. LED tail/brake globes save lives!
