now I know what it's like to be a dolphin..
Ecco is just as amazing as I remember from playing it as a new release on the game gear. It seems a little more difficult though for some reason...maybe the game gear version couldn't support as many bad guys on the screen at once, compared to the genesis. In any case, the graphics are top of the line sega, the gameplay is highly addictive, and the mellow background music really create a one of a kind underwater experience.

Didn't quite get used to it...
I have to say that I like the storyline and the concept, graphics are pretty good for that era, and the real time combat is the way I like it. There was just one little tiny major thing that I couldn't make myself get used to, the semi-overhead DIAGONAL view. I am used to the overhead, square, up-down-left-right style of control, and this diagonal semi 3D scrolling really threw me for a loop. I tried to get used to it, and probably could have, if forced, but I'd rather play one of my other classic-style control RPG's. For those of you who didn't have my problem with the controls, then I'm sure the game was much more entertaining for ya.

Excellent sound tool
I recently purchased a guitar and amplifier on ebay and was very satisfied with the quality if both, although another tool was needed to achieve the level of shredding which was desired, an effects pedal. The Digitech rp255 has exceeded all expectations and I remain a happy consumer to all degrees.
