Perfect for Large Gun Safes
I used this to light my large gun safe (3 lights on each side of door). It works perfectly. The 5000K light illuminates everything very clearly, all the way to the back of the safe. The motion sensor activates the lights when the safe door is opened.
This is exactly what I was looking for and it works even better than I anticipated. No more using a flashlight to see inside my safe.

Excellent camera with great features
7 of 9 found this helpful This was the best bundle deal I found for the Nikon D5500. I specifically wanted the 300mm lens for shooting sports shots at football games, and I was not disappointed. The camera itself has a ton of features and takes exceptionally good pictures. This bundle is all most beginner photographers will need to get started. I opted to add a high-speed 128MB flash card, a Yongnuo YN-568EX flash and a Kodak MIC-204 external microphone to suit my needs. The microphone is needed for recording video because the sound of the autofocus servos is detectable in the video if you just use the built-in microphone. That was a simple $20 fix.
I absolutely LOVE the camera. The built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to view and download pictures from my smart phone, and I can even focus and shoot pictures with the same app. The touchscreen is icing on the cake, making it very easy to select shooting modes and variables, as well as quickly viewing and zooming in on your shots. The setup options menu is very robust. I can't see me ever "outgrowing" this camera.

My Favorite Accessory
It's very convenient to just place my phone on the charger at night and have a fully-charged phone in the morning. I like the design of this model more than its predecessor. The ability to convert from a charging pad to a charging stand is well-implemented, and the conversion process is very simple and smooth.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ with an Otterbox Defender case on it. This charger will not charge my phone in the vertical position, but I confirmed that's an issue caused by the case, not the charger. I removed the case and this charger did its job perfectly in all positions.
I have not had any problems with heat. The phone gets slightly warm when charging, but no more than it would when using it to watch a video, play a game or surf the web...anything that requires the screen to be lit continuously. Both the charger and the phone seem to know when the charge process is complete. Every morning, my phone is fully charged, the charge process has ceased, and the charger has entered its "sleep" mode. I couldn't ask for more.
I also love that this charger allows me to preserve the charge port on my phone. On phones and computers alike, I've had problems in the past when a charge or USB port becomes damaged due to excessive use. There's no cheap fix for that. I prefer to not use the charge/data port unless I absolutely have to. This charger solves that dilemma for me.
