The six string maestro at his best
1 of 1 found this helpful The opening track (Matador)is excellent with Green showcasing his mastery of the electric guitar.The signature single note style of Green is unmistakably dominant here with support from drummer Elvin Jones. Green's rendition of my favorite things is also beautifully done with McCoy Tyner's brief solos and creative inputs from bassist Bob Cranshaw and drummer Elvin Jones.
The other three tracks are equally hot as well though Green could play a little more aggressively on the third track. Overall, this is a remarkable effort from the late guitarist.
