Its worth a read and its about time.
It is about time the Western World realised how much the Portuguese were World Leaders in many different ways.
We are English Washed, a little deeper look will open the readers eyes.

It is about time some truth starts to be told.
It is about time, Australia knew and the Portuguese are recognised appropriately for their Navigational exploits 500+ years ago.
The Portuguese are taught about the discovery of Terra Incognito (Australia) in their Schools, as it is their history.
The English Speaking World is taught a Sanitised English bias based on the Commanding Superior Maritime Capability, that only existed (if it actually did exist) because of the Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, Scanavian and Arab brothers were for hundreds of years already floating on the Oceans and Seas throughout the World.
The English attained Maps and to the Worlds surprise, they turn up in the South Pacific with Maps in a Latin language (Old Portuguese) in 1768 and then they discover Australia, New Zealand etc.
You may wish to do so research about the Earthquake, Tsumani and resultant fire in Lisboa* Portugal 1755, the English came to Lisboa to help the Portuguese. * One of the Major Ports for Portuguese Navagational activities.
The timing may be coincidental or maybe you could call it Fortunate for the English, as soon after this "help" they were sending Ships to India, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia.
