Actually works!
1 of 1 found this helpful This scanner works great. I previously had purchased two of the cheap $3 clear blue elm327 scanners. Neither of them would work. I found out they were cheap clones and dont support all OBDII protocals. This item worked perfect the first time I tried it. It is worth the extra money to have an easy to use product. I am using this on a 1999 cavalier.
I have read codes, and reset them. The Gauge display outputs work fine for my car as well. I am currently using Torque app with this scanner.

Shoddy mfg. Repair needed before use
The product does not make contact well with the springs on the pullman car. The springs are stainless, so they cannot be soldered to the light kit. The diodes on the board were soldered so high above the board the roof would not go on. I had to resolder them lower. The transistor was soldered in at an angle causing it to hit the roof also. After fixing these issues i finally got it working but for how long? This is not the sellers fault, it is mfg. Defects.
