Avoid Plastic USB Drives, even from Sanyo. This metal USB is rock solid - Love it!

Unlike the plastic junk USB's also sold by Sandisk, this metal USB drive has been reliable and, more than that, it seems to be made of solid steel. REALLY solid! Function's good, and tickled pink that we found a USB drive that won't be in pieces within a couple of months. Really good buy, imo.

Is HP's formerly EXCELLENT production now being outsourced for manufacturing?

So surprised! HP was always the best for us. Have owned over a dozen Pavillion PC's and laptops. Quality is not closely related to earlier models. Battery barely lasts 90 minutes. It might just be ebayer "Auditmac tech" being a dishonorable seller (sent us 1 broken and 1 defective laptop). Yet, fact is, the HP Pavillion laptop seems like they intentionally took a step backwards. Squeezing profit appears to be the most common disease among our biggest mfr.s. This review is about the defective laptop. a) battery won't go above 96%, and goes dead within 80 to 90 minutes. b) 3 programs that work on other Windows computers simply can't be installed on the Pavillion! c) If you have ever had a sticky ENTER key on a keyboard, you know how much use this laptop's 𝐧𝐨𝐭 going to give us. -- Slightly overweight: I don't mind laptop being a bit on the heavy side, that's not an issue. Function and speed are the only significant concerns, and, for the first time in 26 years of buying Pavillions, have to admit to being disappointed. I guess ebay doesn't step in anymore. On the other hand, HP gave us great computers for a quarter-century, so, there's that to be grateful for.
