potatoe peeler for proffessional use!
2 of 2 found this helpful I am a professional potatoe cleaner in a fish and chip shop...so i have to clean hundreds of kilos of potatoes....so i believe i am a reliable reviewer of the potatoe peeler. I have always used lancashire potatoe peelers...although since the original conpany closed....its dificult to find a reliable potatoe peeler..(.dont be fooled by the numerous copies that you can buy). I decided to try this peeler and i was pleased! Its sharp...safe and comfortable to hold. It doesnt waste the potatoe like the other peelers and you have high accuracy on the potatoe eyes and bruises! The blade is slightly short...but this increases accuracy...and the end is a bit too pointed to be honest.....so you might nip yourself. The only problem is that the colour of the wood runs and might stain your clothes and by the 2nd week the colour is normal dark wood rather than rose wood. Other than that its extreamly well built! Its a fantastic peeler and i would buy it again! It also has a lifetime guarantee on the blade!
