Intel Xeon W5590, Faster, Stronger, Higher!
This is a nice boost from the original 2.33 Ghz Processor my xServe had originally, I will be ordering a second Processor as I have found a good deal on a replacement logic board with Dual sockets and 12 RAM slots.

Smooth upgrade from Single socket logic board to Dual. Also included a fan assembly for backup or the original.
Moving from the single CPU socket 2009 xserve to the Dual CPU socket is a big boost to the responsiveness of the machine. Combined with 64 GB's of RAM and an NVMe SSD, this machine now crunches numbers like a dream!
