This gear just works
1 of 1 found this helpful OK, they should have made the midi class compliant so it could be used more with other midi devices. It is still a brilliant piece of kit. I suspect the people who dis it don't get into tweaking. The unit just works brilliantly and the software for programming works flawlessly. I'm getting a device called the midx-20 (Google it) which allows direct connection to 5 pin midi in-out so I can use controllers or sound-banks directly. Also search for forums on the web.
I was slightly underwhelmed until I started editing patches to suit my setup and my tastes. The ease of programming is just what it should be (unlike so many other products).
The possible uses of the GP-10 are pretty tremendous if you are willing to take on the tech.
