Epoxy coating stinks but excellent magnets regardless
4 out of 5 stars because they are really strong and well priced. Took one star off because the epoxy paint is not very good. It scrapes off too easily revealing typical chromium coating. I was hoping that the epoxy paint was more like an epoxy coating with a hard plastic-like characteristic. I would possibly have been better off buying regular n42 magnets and coating them on my own.
Akebono ACT1114 Ceramic Brake Pads

equivalent to or slightly better than oem
I only have these on the rear of my 2015 forester, but they seem to be at least as good as, if not better than, the OEM pads. I bled my brakes a few months before installing these and that made a slight improvement in braking performance. After replacing just the rears (fronts still have some life left in them), once again, I have slightly better braking performance. By better I mean, the same amount of effort applied to the brake pedal equals a slightly quicker deceleration while also no impacting ability to modulate. I do get a tiny bit of squeal from them with the first few applications of my brakes, but then I won't hear them again until the next day.
Since I haven't had these for more than a few weeks now, I cannot comment on durability.
Worth the money for those needing to concentrate in noisy offices
Bought these used because Bose discontinued the special ed black on black coloring. But even paying full retail would have been worth it. I work in a annoying and loud office. I can put on some quiet music, turn the noise canceling on, and I hear very little of my office noises. I also think they are comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. It does get a little uncomfortable after several days of heavy use, but I can't imagine headphones that don't get that way. Anyways, productivity gained makes these well worth the price. Also, have had them for 5 months and haven't had any issues. I am careful with them since I know one of the wires inside will eventually break. But there's a vendor on eBay that repairs these if they do end up breaking.
