4-Pin Male Molex Connector to 12V DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm Plug 12" LED Power Cable
10 March 2018
VERY Disappointed!! Mine just won't work!
I'm very disappointed with my purchase here. This thing doesn't work, even if the polarization is reversed by an M-Plug (5.5mm X 2.1mm barrel) pigtail adapter from Radio Shack. It's likely mine was wired up the wrong way, or something, but I can't say for sure. Thought I would be able to use this adapter with an existing DC/external-PC hard drive power supply, which I have here at home, that has a 4-pin Molex plug on the DC side. NOT the case! I wanted to use this power combo for running a small 12VDC appliance I acquired just recently, instead of the original adapter that came with it. The original creates an ENORMOUS hum field, and I thought changing adapters would fix it. This concludes my review for this not-so-great product.

VERY NICE DC power splitter...and just what I needed!
Hey there, folks. I bought this DC power splitter cable for use in a very unusual application, in my car for powering at least two small 12VDC devices in my audio system's external gear signal chain. I would like to describe this setup to you as best I can, if it's okay with all you viewers. From my phone, and a 5-amp regulated 12VDC power adapter, the first outboard device will be a compact AGC (automatic gain control box, for volume leveling over the road noise), while the second piece is a powered 3-way audio/video distribution box. Won't be using the video portion, though, since I won't be watching videos while driving. Anyway, everything else will be 5-Volt USB-powered gear, including my phone. They'll all be getting their juice from a multi-function accessory panel I found over at Amazon. The 3-way box mentioned here will be sending audio signals from my phone to two destination devices, a cassette adapter (either Bluetooth-style or wired) and an FM transmitter. My phone's onboard Bluetooth function will be disabled, so that I can send its signals through the AGC box first, next to the 3-way distributor, and then over to a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver if I choose to buy a Bluetooth-style cassette adapter. I will also have a wired tape adapter on hand to work as backup. Anyway, my car's old Delco head unit still works nicely and sounds fairly good, but the factory speakers will also be swapped out for 2 pairs of very nice Pioneer 3-way 6-X-9's I found recently - equipped even with GM wiring harness adapters! And although not really necessary, I'm also gonna consider beefing up the system's audio power level with a sweet 4-channel Pioneer GM-D1004 ultra-compact power amplifier. That amp delivers a whopping 45W RMS per channel, and measures only 7 inches long and 2-1/2 inches wide! Not sure how I'm gonna wire it in, though, since my factory head unit didn't come with its own RCA outs. I'll have to use the radio's speaker outputs to feed into the power amplifier, and my brother's gonna help me with that. Anyway, that's my immediate future plan for my car's vintage-style audio system, while making use of this 3-way power splitter cable. Looking forward to getting everything installed and ready to use on long road trips. Until next time,...
Behringer MDX2600 Composer Pro XL Compressor

VERY NICE for the ultra-low price tag
I bought this bad-boy compressor to replace an aging/failed Alesis 3630 that I had for almost 21 years. That latter unit (yes, the Alesis model) finally died on me about a month or so ago (early/mid March), and so that finally opened up the chance for me to get one of these much better-quality Behringer's here. My older cousin told me that these babies here are fitted with high-end electronic guts, resulting in ultra-nice specs (for example, having a 115dB 'unweighted' S/N ratio)! The Behringer MDX2600 is basically a Mercedes-Benz sedan/SUV disguised as a Volkswagen Beetle, so to speak, and it's packed with features - in fact, more features that my former 3630 could only dream about having! I wish that I could describe these features in more detail here, but I'm a bit time-pressed at the moment and need to get going about my other daily activities. I can share with you one photo of my gear. In case you're wondering where my amplifier is, it's hidden from view. However, that empty space is reserved for a future Behringer-brand KM750 amplifier for driving a 15" subwoofer. I highly recommend the Behringer MDX2600 to anyone who needs a good-quality dynamics processor, but can't afford to shell out the big bucks! Until next time, folks...
