Everything was perfectly as described, with the body in particularly good shape (100% intact and without blemish), and the mechanism running as well as anyone could have the right to hope for, for something manufactured by Mehano. May fit Peco, can't say as dont have any, but much too small for other makes, won't fit Shinohara, or Fleishmann for sure.

Powerfull tool, flawed warranty.

Good quality, high power, good battery life (8ah). Have seen reviews that say ok for light work, well I found it good for quite a bit heavier work, cutting trees with branches over 300mm and trunks over 500mm. Cons. Well it is heavy to carry to the work, but once working you don't notice the weight. Biggest drawback is warranty. What isn't well disclosed is that manufacturers warranty (3/6 years) is restricted to purchases from Bunnings and a SA company. I know there is an implied Australian Legal Warranty on all purchases, but how easy that would be to enforce, and how long it would take to get repaired, is a big question.
