Sugar-Free Toddlers by Susan Watson (1991, Paperback)
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a wonderful cookbook. I like the set-up and it's a nice size 8.5 x 7.5".
I like the Williamson Publishing kids books and it was published not too far from where I live. 8 Chapters and over 100 recipes. A little blurb about the recipe is posted above and tells what makes it special. For example, above the Hidden Secret Pancakes it states, "These pancakes are so deliciously spiced, kids don't even realize that they are packed with vitamin A-rich zucchini". Nutri Cake is a cake that's healthy enough to be eaten for breakfast. A wide variety of the pancake can be found. Pilgrim pancakes, William Tell Pancakes, and Ask-For-More Cheesy Griddle Cakes. Breakfast foods that include fruit and vegetables are included. Biscuits, crackers, muffins and quick breads has Golden Orange Biscuits, Dinosaur Sesame Thins, Crispy Grahams, Rich and Thin Oat Crackers, Quick Peanut Crackers, Favorite Gingerbread, Cinnamon Snack Bread, and Sweet Potato or Pumpkin Bread.
Drinks like Orangesicle Sippers, Toddler Pina Colada, Toddler's Choice Thick Frozen Yogurt Shake, and Lazy Days Lemonade. Snacks like Teether Bread Stix, Whole Wheat Soft Pretzels, Fruit Leather Rolls, Banana Coconut Custard, Fruit Creamsicles, Gummy Chews, and smoothies. Garden of Eden syrup is for pancakes, Peach Tree Spread, Two Cheese Sandwich Spread, Ambrosia Apricot Filling, and more. Caribbean Refrigerator Cookies, Oatmeal Fruited cookies, Luscious Lemon Rounds, No-Bake Cream Cheese Balls, Eggless Baby Cake, Special Carob Cake, and my favorite Carrot Cake. The last section has sugar ratings for kids cereals and juices so you can compare them. I like the book and think it's a good buy.
