Precise and easy to use
I am an intermediate-level, amateur mechanic, but have little experience with balancing carburetors and throttle bodies. The Twinmax was really easy to use and greatly improved the smoothness of my 2002 BMW R1100S. These bikes are notorious for having rough spots at partial throttle and suffer from "surging," typically in the 2,500-3,500 rpm range . Balancing with the Twinmax solved the problem!
You should note that the vacuum hoses that come with the kit may not be the right diameter to fit the ports on your bike. I had to step down the size to fit the ports on my R1100S - not a big deal, but the kit may need some tweaking to fit your application.
