This is a beautiful, brilliant book
This is a beautiful, brilliant book. The photography shows the best these gardens have to offer.
The design principles are depicted clearly enough for anyone with enough interest can replicate these in their own garden.
It is hard to find a book on Japanese gardens that illustrate the sense of space and proportion of genuine Japanese gardens, this book does just that.

Quick, easy and precise
Far more convenient than using wet stones and almost as accurate.
This is a great way to sharpen other peoples knives without having to wait for stones to soak or having a source of water to use. It also sharpens quickly, If you follow the instructions, there is no risk of overheating the blade
