Cosy conservatory
2 of 2 found this helpful We bought this to replace an old gas heater (which had a pilot light and ceramic heat panels), and wanted something safer for the grandchildren and dogs. The heater does get hot and care has to be taken not to get too close but there is no exposed flame. There are 2 heat settings (and a pilot light only setting) which soon warm up our 3' x 4' conservatory. The coal effect only glows slightly on the maximum setting which is a pity, but the overall look and finish of the heater look great, unlike our old heater. Please take the advice and run the heater on the high setting, outside, for 3-4 hours as it really does smell!
