LIKE ALMOST EVERTHING IN AMERICA US MIL. SURPLUS HAS GONE TO THE DOGS

I sold genuine military for 25 years and know ROTHCO well as an excellent family run company but there simply is no comparison between VN era GI watch cap and today's flimsy evolution. 'Real" , i.e.old, GI wool watch and jeep caps were so much tighter weave that you couldn't put your finger through them. This unfortunately is what manufacturing has become in everything'Made in America'. Sad.

For the more mechanically minded

Not as easy to use as fixed lip corkscrew. Purchased it to replace cheaper made non hinged plastic one which I worried would eventually break in my hand. Back to the cheap one. Best is screw one with folding wings unless you really, really need to put it in your pocket (waiter).
