Works but not entirely correct for Ryobi 825r
2nd time this has happened to me and others purchasing it should be aware. The carburetor itself is fine. However, the throttle piece has a built in stainless screw which is incorrect for the Ryobi 825r and perhaps others.
The 825r throttle has a simple hole in it where the linkage threads in and hooks around it. There is no way to connect the stainless screw that comes with this replacement. Thus, the alternative is to remove that one and replace it with your old unit - if you are lucky to have it or if it is still functioning properly.
I cannot understand how they can say this is universal. It most certainly is not. Check your unit carefully and look for one that has the correct throttle.
