The clue is in the title!

As the title says, the essence of the more well known 'pap' band (shurely 'pop' band, edit comm).
In my opinion (humbly) this band,influenced by Sir P Green, was responsible for all the bands, & income to the British Economy that followed thereafter. They were not really original, they mostly did adaptations of old blues stuff, around the pubs & blues clubs of the late 60's & 70's. Thankfully, this rawness is retained in this collection.
Dues to John Mayall an' all, but this Band is owed so much for influencing & commercialising 'the blues' within the UK.
This was about as near as I could find to the 'dustbins' vinyl album of which I have worn out several times over.
