About

I've been a member of eBay since 1998. I mostly buy because selling is a bit of work especially when some customers try to take advantage of you. Please don't bid on an auction over $30 if you have zero feedback. Please ask questions. Happy bidding.

Samsung HMX-F90 Digital Camcorder w/ 52x Optical Zoom - Black

Nice cost-effective camera.
I've used this to make videos of friends' weddings, church events, and for home videos. The video is good. Variable resolution settings can make even HD videos. There's no integral lighting, but indoor videos still look very crip. Pictures in camera mode, though, aren't much better than cell phone quality. Play back and other menu features are achieved by buttons instead of touch screen. Mounts easily to a tri-pod. There's no wi-fi or bluetooth, so no direct uploading to the internet. (Of course you can directly connect it to your computer via cable, or remove with SD card.) If you're a camera snob then you should probably throw away your money on something more expensive with more bells and whistles to suit your fancy and pocket book. My only real complaint is be careful about plugging in the recharging cable. If you push it in too hard it can potentially push in the input jack, and basically wreck it. Wish it came with a dedicated battery charger. But overall, for the budget minded, this makes crisp videos and is excellent indoors and outdoors.

Good for what I wanted it for
I'm addicted to the internet, and so I need a back-up computer in case anything happened to my primary unit. The Dell E551 was the perfect fit! Here's my review (and please pardon my "technological" jargon) -- It's cheap and it works. When we're talking about CRT monitors, it's a heavy family. I used to own one that was 80 pounds! The Dell E551, though, is a comparitive light weight weighing in at about 30 pounds. The size of the monitor isn't bad compared to other CRT monitors either. Oh sure, it takes up more room than an LCD monitor, but I was able to make room for it without too many problems. The screen size is small, but it's not a major problem if you're only a few feet away from it. It's probably too small for serious applications like Photoshop, but it's passable for checking e-mails, surfing the net, and playing some old computer games that are not too heavy with small icons. I would like to complain about a strange "buzzing" noise I've heard a few times from the monitor when I first got it off of eBay as a refurbish, but it seems to have subsided. I've seen monitors like this go for $5 at garage sales, but $10 seems to be the average on the internet. I wouldn't go more than $15 on shipping either, but do realize that because of its weight and size shipping is always going to be a bit pricey. In all, don't pay more than $25 for a unit. It's a good unit, but in this day and age it isn't worth a lot of money. All in all, if you're slapping together a cheap back-up system that's not going to kill your wallet during these economic times, it doesn't come cheaper than this monitor! (It cost me $10 for the unit, and $12 for shipping. Unless you find one at a garage sale close to your house, you would be hard-pressed to find a cheaper monitor on the internet.) It works perfectly for what I want and I don't have a problem using it as a back-up just in case I ever need to have my brand new $250 LCD monitor fixed.

LEE Powder Measure TO Perfect Adapter™ for Lee Pistol & Rifle Dies - Gun-Guides
11 June 2020
If you want to use the Lee Perfect Powder Measure with your Lee flaring die, you need this.
Like the title says. If instead of one of the automatic powder dispensers made for a turrent or progressive press, you choose instead to use a perfect powder dispenser, then you NEED this adapter to your flaring die with the powder-through cavity. I did not need to use a raiser with this as it situates the powder dispenser well enough that it doesn't very much bother the Lee Safety Primer on my turrent press. No issues with powder leakage. Easy to remove and reattach. This is the third one I own, and they're all great. Buy it.
