Cabin Air Filter Wix 24805

Too wide

After much research I learned that in 2003 GMC trucks and suv's eliminated the cabin filter and access to where they would be located. You can purchase a cover that fits nicely after you cut an opening in the duct work to install the new/fresh filters. These filters stated that they would fit my vehicle (2006). Well, after much profanity, sore knees and modification of the filters by cutting off the foam on both sides of both filters, it was still a battle to install. Watch a few videos on U-tube on this retrofit before you start. These filters are of good quality, reasonably priced, they're are just a little too wide.
