Pretty and functional
I recently upgraded to a Scotty 1099 electric downrigger after using Penn manual downriggers for years. I did not like the rod holder that came with the Scotty. The stainless steel rocket launchers works well with the Scotty swivel mount and I am much more comfortable operating the downrigger. It was lucky as well as I caught 4 nice Blackmouth the first time out with the setup. Looks cool too!

Nanci Griffith Winter Marquee
I really enjoyed watching this DVD. The sound quality is excellent and the videography is great as well. I had the good fortune of getting third row seats for a concert done during her 2002 tour and this DVD brought back fond memories of this concert. Even someone not familiar with Nanci Griffith's work would likely enjoy this concert. If you are a Nanci Griffith fan you will not be disappointed with this DVD.

Canned Heat-EP DVD
1 of 1 found this helpful I was disappointed with this DVD. I purchased it on e-bay and by the standard description I expected this to be primarily a DVD of live performances from Canned Heat taped for German Television. There are only four tracks of the Canned Heat performing. The performance of On the Road Again from a 1968 broadcast has poor sound quality but there is some great footage of Alan Wilson. The other three tracks are from a 1970 broadcast and the sound is much better. I am not fond of the video juke box format as you have to keep the remote in your hand to play each track. All in all you get 11 minutes and 58 seconds of the Canned Heat, which you can watch in either video juke box format or a pop-up format with text. 45 minutes of the rest of the DVD are previews of other DVDs and a video juke box format program of videos for 10 other performers. It not that these videos are bad it is just not what I though I was buying. Better to buy this one in a store where you can actually read the DVD cover and see what your are actually paying for.
