MSD 6AL-2
I bought this product a little suspect of the low price compared to other dealers. It is the real deal and came in a factory sealed box. Have not installed it yet but I am sure it will function like all MSD products, Above and beyond expectations. I purchased this version vs the older 6AL due to size. It is quite a bit smaller. That makes mounting it much more versatile. I have a 60's car and try and keep the engine looking period correct. Because of the size I was able to mount this under the battery tray and out of sight.

It was less than twice the price of a throw away filter and flows twice as much air. Im ahead after the first cleaning
good quality and cleanable.

65 Original Alum. Water Pump Replacement Only
This only fits 65 289 engines with the original Alum water pump. If your water pump has a back plate this is not the correct pump. Late 65 and up, changed to cast iron water pump with a back plate. It's a good pump with quality workmanship. Not as well made as Stewart pumps but this. model is getting hard to find. You need the early timing cover to make this work. Overall I rate it a 7 out of 10. The impeller is stamped instead of cast as the originals were. I had to slightly adjust the water flow humps with a sanding disk to allow the pump to move up about 1/32" so the bolts lined up with the timing cover without binding. This is not a problem on later design with back cover plate.
