SHAKES and a hassle to put on and take off.
3 of 3 found this helpful The "NO SHAKING" claim is false. I do not think it is the brackets but the mirror itself. I am going to be looking at another solution. It is enough to keep you out of trouble with the law but they shake so bad they are pretty useless.
They also come painted all the way down the threads that go down in the hinge hole making it to big to go in the hole. If you buy them save yourself some headaches and use a wire wheel to take the paint off the threads otherwise you are going to have a heck of a time getting them on and off.
You also have to completely assemble them every time you put them on the Jeep. The second bracket goes to the bottom of the hinge and the only way to get it on and off is to take the mirror out of the mount.

Very tough and sturdy at good price
These things are big and heavy. I have no idea why anyone would buy a more expensive one. I would think you would bust a wheel off or break an axle before one of these would break.
