A good guide to how things were made in the 1900's...
I found this an interesting account of how a lot of things we take for granted were made when tradesmen and craftsmen were still doing most of their work by hand. Not only formulas but techniques of forming metals, preparing paint, varnish and a number of what our grandparents would have concidered household cleaning products. A lot of this is the basis for many modern consumer products.

Get the K5SS instead of the modern versions; you will never regret it!
5 of 6 found this helpful What can I say, it's a timeless classic and the standard that professional mixers are judged by. Even though Hobart sold to Whirlpool, the old K5 series did not change one bit and the quality of this machine is hands down superior to any of the modern versions.

Still able to install, with a little push...
A couple of things to note:
1. You need to have the correct drivers for your particular machine set up ready to go.
2. You may need extra assistance from Microsoft to register your machines software. There is a simple process to do this manually using Microsoft's proprietary smartphone app for manual registration.
Once installed,I was able to continue as a Windows Insider to get Windows 10 up and going.
