Beautiful Instrument with outstanding manufacturer support

The Lohanu ukulele is constructed of beautiful woods an finished din remarkable style for being a starer instrument -- including binding on back, front, and the finger board (which, by the way is rosewood!) and five layer perfling on the top. The strings are high quality ones and hold tune very well once acclimated. The tuning machines are good quality enclosed gear units that provide fine adjustment and hold their position once set. My ukulele was damaged in shipment and the maker made sure the situation was taken care of, providing repair to truly good as new condition and keeping in touch all through that process -- communicating personally with me a number of times along the way -- and assuring that it would be replaced with a new one if it could not be brought back to new condition. The instrument comes with everything needed to get started: strap, strap buttons already installed, case, picks, and tuner. I highly recommend the Lohanu instrument and the company that made it.
