Brand new maybe, but shop worn.

I don’t much care about such things, but the dust jacket on this was pretty worn: the ink has worn thin along binding stress points on both front and back, and just doesn’t appear as “new”. Like I said, I don’t really care much (nor am I expert on condition terms) but if such things mattered to me I’d have been disappointed.
