A classic metal album.
Amongst the Catacombs album was my first Nile album in the late 90s. At this point Nu-metal was starting to become a thing, and black metal was popular in the underground. After listening to this album, it was apparent that death metal will never die. The triple vocal attack is one of the things that separate Nile from the rest of the death metal bands. I think that the album became pivotal in the death genre and the underground at that particular time. Personally is one of those rare albums that I enjoy from beginning to end. There is truly no song to skip here. If I had to choose a favorite song, a personal favorite will have to be "Beneath Eternal Oceans of Sand".

Classic Album
Amazing album with great songs. It is definitely different to hear it on vinyl. Good stories from the folks involved in the recording. The human emotions can consume a person, and Chuck's feeling when writing this one was about revenge. Let the metal flow!

Classic album, to think this came out in the early 00s!!
This is classic for me. I went to see them on the 2nd time around for this tour and they were playing this same setlist. Great songs, classic setlist and it has become a classic live album.
