My Avanti ran too rich

Replaced original Carter AFB with Edelbrock 1406 600 cfm carburetor and it idled way too rich. I was able to use metering rods and jets out of this kit to calibrate to 1 stage lean,and fuel economy is up and runs better at idle. This kit is the same as Edelbrock except it is 10 to 15 dollars cheaper.

Could not get proper plugs through my normal repair shop channels,(auto repair). Was really happy to find them on Ebay Just what i needed.
