The 'second most popular hair curler in Australia' but can't be used in Australia due to having non-Australian adaptor

I can't 'tell you more' as I can't use the product due to wrong adaptor (Australian). Item is popular here so the item should work here as advertised. I have MS and need to find ways to save me time and energy. I am in my 20s and don't have the energy to curl my hair when I do rarely go out. I was looking forward to this arriving, as I purchase myself products when I'm in bed or hospital and get super excited when I get to open the package but was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed when I opened this package. Was this a mistake? Do you normally sell them like this?
